Attorney Jon Gold, one of the partners at RGG Law, recently completed a program of training pursuant to Missouri Supreme Court Rule 17 to become an official mediator of civil legal disputes in the areas of business law, employment law, real estate law and bankruptcy law.
As a private attorney, he has courtroom experience with bankruptcy law and other civil cases. As a mediator, he can now officially help resolve disputes, without the risk and expense of a courtroom trial, between two parties through the formal mediation process.
In 2015, Jon Gold marked 25 years of practicing law, experience that will serve him well in his new role as mediator. He is licensed in the State of Missouri and several federal courts.
Experience Pertaining to Bankruptcy Law and Civil Disputes
At the beginning of his career, Attorney Gold served as Law Clerk to the Honorable George Flanigan with the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Southern District. He has, at different times, served as Managing Partner of RGG Law and head of the firm’s Social Security Department. He is also the former Chairman of the Social Security Committee of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. He serves on the boards of several community organizations, including Crosslines and Old Missouri Bank. He is a past Chairman of the Board for Old Missouri Bank. He has also been a speaker at continuing education seminars for other attorneys in the topic areas of bankruptcy law and Social Security disability law.
